Sanfrecce Hiroshima won 4-1 away at Urawa Red Diamonds in the J.League, taking the lead early and then re-establishing control after Urawa levelled. The visitors showed far more attacking intent throughout, with 26 shots to Urawa's three and 11 corners to one.
Akito Suzuki put Sanfrecce ahead in the 16th minute, only for Hayato Araki to equalise for Urawa in the 22nd. Tsukasa Shiotani's goal in first-half stoppage time restored the lead, and that proved the turning point as Sébastien Haller made it 3-1 in the 61st minute before Suzuki added his second of the match in the 75th.
Akito Suzuki was the standout performer with two goals, while Sanfrecce's overall dominance was clear in the shot count. Urawa managed just one shot on target and a single big chance, with Sanfrecce creating four big chances and scoring two of them.
