CS Universitatea Craiova came from behind to beat KuPS 2-1 in the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round. Valentín Gasc gave the Finnish side a fifth-minute lead, but Steven Nsimba levelled before half-time and Carlos Mora scored the winner midway through the second half.
KuPS struck early when Gasc converted in the fifth minute to make it 0-1. Craiova responded in the 43rd minute through Nsimba, and Mora completed the turnaround in the 63rd, with Assad Al-Hamlawi providing the assist. The home side controlled the game after taking the lead.
The scoreline flattered KuPS in terms of chances. Craiova finished with seven shots on target to KuPS's two and took eight corners to none, while holding 52% possession. Five yellow cards were shown in a competitive contest, but the home side's pressure told.
