Royale Union Saint-Gilloise beat Anderlecht 3-0 in First Division A, settling the contest with two goals late in the first half. Anderlecht had more of the ball but could not find a way through, managing only two shots on target.
Besfort Zeneli put the home side ahead in the 38th minute, and Mateo Biondic doubled the lead in the 45th minute. Raul Florucz added a third in the 81st minute to wrap up the win.
Anderlecht's 54% possession and 349 accurate passes counted for little against a Union side who had 15 shots, seven on target, and created two big chances. Zeneli, with a goal and an assist, was the outstanding performer.
