FC Hradec Králové came from behind to beat Tromsø IL 3-1 in the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round. After falling behind to an early header from Heine Asen Larsen, the Czech side struck back just before half-time and then took control with two quick goals after the restart.
Tromsø took the lead in the 25th minute when Larsen headed in from Sander Innvær's cross. Hradec were level five minutes later though, as Mick van Buren turned in Jakub Kucera's delivery. The hosts seized the momentum early in the second half: Tom Sloncik fired them ahead in the 48th minute after a pass from van Buren, and Ondřej Mihálik made it 3-1 six minutes later with Daniel Horak providing the assist.
Tromsø dominated possession with 58% and had more corners (6-3) and shots off target (4-1), but both sides managed three shots on target. Hradec's clinical finishing, led by Mick van Buren's goal and assist, proved decisive. The only bookings were for Jakub Uhrinčať, Tom Sloncik, David Edvardsson and Abdullahi Umar.
