Nankatsu SC ran out comfortable 3-1 winners over Toin University of Yokohama FC in the Japan Regional League, taking a commanding three-goal lead before the break. They controlled the game from start to finish, dominating possession and chances.
Kota Nakamura opened the scoring in the 29th minute, and Yuya Nagai doubled the lead just before half-time in the 41st minute. Nakamura then struck again in the 44th minute to make it 3-0, completing his brace inside the first half. Toin pulled one back through an unassisted goal in the 66th minute, but it was too little, too late.
Nankatsu's superiority was clear in the stats: they had 63% possession and won seven corners to Toin's three. Kota Nakamura's two goals were the decisive factor, and the home side never looked threatened after their early burst.
