Rayan Senhadji scored the opener in the 23rd minute, converting Askhat Tagybergen's assist to make it 0-1. Vitali Lisakovich doubled Tobol's lead in the 52nd minute, and two late sendings-off — Antonio Boršić in the 68th minute and Ruslan Yudenkov in the 90th — punctuated a feisty closing stretch.
Tobol were clinical with the two clear opportunities that settled the match, while Irtysh could not find a way back. A clean sheet on the road, secured without the need for a late scramble, underlined the visitors' control.
