Timrå IK closed out the Club Friendly Games clash with a decisive 5-1 regulation win over IF Sundsvall Hockey. The visitors seized control early, posting two goals in each of the first two periods to build an insurmountable cushion.
Timrå struck twice in the opening frame for a 2-0 lead, then doubled the advantage by the second intermission at 4-0. Sundsvall finally got on the board in the third period, but Timrå answered with another goal to cap the scoring at 5-1.
The defining number was the 4-0 lead after 40 minutes, a margin that let Timrå dictate the pace throughout. The team's two-goal bursts in the first and second periods proved the difference in a game that never truly hung in the balance.
