Clara Tauson swept past Sára Bejlek 6-2, 6-3 in Athens, converting three of nine break points and saving the only break point she faced. Tauson controlled the match by winning all seven of her service games and finishing with a 58-44 point advantage.
Tauson broke early in each set: at 2-1 and 5-2 in the opener, then at 1-0 and 6-3 in the second. She never lost serve, while Bejlek saved six of nine break points but could not earn a break of her own. Tauson’s first-serve percentage dipped to 56% in the first set but rose to 65% in the second, keeping the pressure on her opponent.
Tauson’s second serve proved a key weapon – she won 74% of those points (14/19) and did not face a break point in the first set. Bejlek, despite hitting 61% of first serves, won only 54% of those points and managed no aces, leaving her with too few chances to turn the match around.
