Ilves skated to a 4-0 regulation win over HPK Hämeenlinna, effectively putting the game away in the opening 12 minutes. Benjamin Korhonen struck twice early, first at 8:00 with Timi Teuho-Markkola assisting and again at 12:00 from Luke Henman.
The second period was scoreless, keeping the margin at two before Lukas Jasek pushed it to 3-0 at 49:00, with Jens Looke drawing the assist. Ilves added a fourth at the 60-minute mark to close out the 4-0 final.
Korhonen's two-goal night was the only multi-point performance in the game. His early strikes built a lead Ilves never surrendered, and the regulation shutout gave HPK no path back.
