The first set featured five breaks in ten games, with Tabilo striking the decisive one at 6-4 after saving two of four break points. Midon levelled by taking the second-set tiebreak 7-6, but Tabilo regained control in the decider, breaking at 5-4 after a run of three breaks in four games.
Tabilo’s first serve was clinical—76% of first-serve points won (50/66)—and he won 44 return points overall. Midon’s 13 aces were not enough to offset his 48% first-serve percentage (58/110), as Tabilo’s return pressure proved decisive.
