K. Sultanov came from behind to beat J. Charlton 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 at the Zhangjiagang China tournament. The decisive third set was decided by three breaks of serve, with Sultanov converting the final one at 5-4 to close out the match.
After dropping the opening set, Sultanov levelled the match with a 6-3 second set. The final set saw the lead change hands twice: Sultanov broke at 4-2, Charlton hit back at 4-3, and Sultanov struck again at 5-4 to win the set and the match.
The deciding set featured three breaks of serve in all, with Sultanov ending on the right side of the balance. He finished with two breaks to Charlton's one in that set, enough to secure a 6-4 scoreline.
