Stockport County beat Wycombe Wanderers 5-1 in League One, taking control early and never letting it slip. Harry Wood scored twice inside the first 23 minutes to set the tone.
Wood opened the scoring from Lewis Bate's pass in the 16th minute and added a second seven minutes later, this time assisted by Kyle Wootton. Cauley Woodrow pulled one back for Wycombe in the 43rd minute, but Wootton restored the two-goal lead from Oliver Norwood's pass in the 56th. Jack Diamond made it 4-1 in the 61st minute and Mikael Mandron completed the scoring in the 89th, assisted by Benoný Breki Andrésson.
Stockport dominated the ball with 65% possession and had 18 shots to Wycombe's seven, with an expected-goals figure of 1.35 to 0.94. Wood's brace was the individual highlight, while Wycombe created three big chances but scored only one of them.
