FC St. Pauli and SpVgg Greuther Fürth shared a 1-1 draw in the 2. Bundesliga. The goals came either side of the 50th minute, with Marcus Mathisen giving the hosts the lead and Felix Klaus replying for the visitors.
Mathisen scored in the 46th minute from Branimir Hrgota's assist to make it 1-0. Five minutes later Klaus equalised after Jannik Dehm's assist. Arkadiusz Pyrka was booked in the 61st minute, and no further goals followed.
FC St. Pauli had more of the ball, 58 per cent, and the stronger expected-goals figure, 1.91 to 1.55, but Fürth put seven shots on target to their six. The hosts created five big chances, scored from only one and missed four. Their wastefulness was the difference between a win and a point.
