HC Khimik Voskresensk erased a two-goal deficit to beat Sokol Krasnoyarsk 3-2 in overtime. Khimik dug out of the early hole with three unanswered goals, the last coming in the extra session.
Sokol controlled the opening stages, scoring at 17:00 and again at 26:00 for a 2-0 lead. Khimik pulled one back at 34:00 before tying it at 45:00 to force overtime, then completed the comeback with the decisive tally in OT.
The comeback was the headline number: after falling behind 2-0, Khimik never trailed again, closing the game on a three-goal run across the second, third, and overtime periods.
