Zagłębie Lubin came from behind to beat Śląsk Wrocław 2-1 in the Ekstraklasa, with Levente Szabó scoring the winner five minutes from time. Josip Ćorluka had earlier levelled Piotr Samiec-Talar's opener to turn the match around.
Śląsk struck first in the 34th minute when Piotr Samiec-Talar finished after a Malaly Dembélé assist, making it 0-1. Zagłębie responded early in the second half, Josip Ćorluka equalising in the 52nd minute with an unassisted goal, and then Szabó completed the comeback in the 85th minute, assisted by Ćorluka. Yellow cards for Marc Llinares, Grzegorz Tomasiewicz, Levente Szabó and Marcel Regula punctuated a competitive contest.
The numbers tell a curious story: Śląsk had more shots (13 to 12), a higher expected-goals total (1.31 to 0.89) and the game's only big chance, which they scored. Yet Zagłębie were more clinical, putting five shots on target to their opponents' two, and they also dominated possession with 58% and took eight corners to none.
