Torreense took the points with a 2-0 win away to Benfica B in the Segunda Liga. The visitors broke the deadlock just before the interval and added a second midway through the second half to seal the result.
Dany Jean put Torreense ahead in the 45th minute, making it 0-1 at the break. Malik Abubakari doubled the lead in the 74th minute, with Andre Simões providing the assist for the second goal.
Benfica B could not find a way back into the match, and Torreense finished with a clean sheet. The only cards were yellow bookings for Miguel Figueiredo and Gabriel Indio, in the 42nd and 63rd minutes respectively.
