HC Skoda Plzen turned a two-goal deficit into a 4-2 win over Skellefteå AIK, scoring three times in the third period of a game decided in regulation. The Czech side trailed 1-2 after 40 minutes and then produced the only goals of the final 20.
Oskar Vuollet opened the scoring at 18 minutes off a Mans Forsfjall feed, and Pontus Johansson made it 0-2 at 38. Adam Mechura's unassisted-era closer on the Ondrej Rohlik setup at 40 cut it to 1-2, and the turning point came at 56 and 57: Jakub Chromiak tied it from Filip Matyas, then Jakub Lev scored from Lukas Strnad for 3-2, with a fourth Plzen goal at 60.
The telling number is the period split — 3-0 in the third after being outscored 0-2 across the first two. Lev's 57th-minute goal was the game-winner, and Strnad's assist on it capped a late sequence in which Plzen scored three times in five minutes.
