Yunnan Yukun won 4-3 in a breathless encounter, snatching victory after Sichuan Jiuniu had staged a remarkable stoppage-time fightback. The home side led 3-1 with just over half an hour to play, but two goals in the 90th minute from Wesley Moraes and John Hou Sæter seemed to have earned Sichuan a point. Yunnan, however, struck again in the same minute to take all three points.
Tim Chow gave Sichuan the lead on 16 minutes, but Caio Vinícius levelled for Yunnan on 23. Oscar Taty Maritu headed Yunnan ahead from Bunyamin Abdusalam's assist on 37, and Abdusalam himself made it 3-1 on 56 after good work by Maritu. Then came the frantic finale: Wesley Moraes pulled one back for Sichuan, John Hou Sæter equalised, but Yunnan immediately responded with a winner in the same 90th minute.
Yunnan had the better of the statistics, with 54% possession and 13 shots to Sichuan's 9. They created four big chances to Sichuan's two, though both of the visitors' big chances were scored. Yunnan missed two big chances themselves but still found a way to win in a chaotic final minute.
