Galway United snatched a 1-1 draw with Shelbourne after a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser. Shelbourne had looked set to take all three points when James Norris put them ahead in the 80th minute, but Jimmy Keohane levelled for Galway deep into added time.
Shelbourne controlled long spells and finally made the breakthrough through Norris, only for Galway to respond at the death. Keohane converted from Ola Williams' assist in the 90th minute to rescue a point and leave the visitors with a share of the spoils.
The statistics show just how much Shelbourne dominated: they had 56% possession, 17 shots to Galway's 13, and an expected goals figure of 1.80 against 0.54. Yet Galway, who managed four big chances fewer, still found a way to take something from the game.
