Yunnan Yukun fought back from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw with Shanghai Port. Shanghai Port looked in control after a first-half blitz, but Yunnan struck twice early in the second half to level the match.
Shanghai Port took the lead in the 36th minute through Zhen Wei, assisted by Óscar Melendo, and doubled it four minutes later when Yue Xin scored from Leonardo's pass. Yunnan responded quickly after the break: Oscar Taty Maritu pulled one back in the 49th minute from Cléber's assist, and Bunyamin Abdusalam equalised four minutes later from Alexandru Ioniță's pass.
Despite Shanghai Port enjoying 61% possession and 13 shots (six on target), they created no big chances and missed none. Yunnan Yukun, with only 39% possession, had five big chances, scored two, and missed three, showing they were more incisive in attack. The draw leaves both sides with a point each.
