Shanghai Port came from behind to beat Chongqing Tonglianglong 3-2 in the CFA Super League. Leonardo scored twice, with his second goal in the 51st minute proving the winner.
Yuwang Xiang put the home side ahead in the 19th minute. Leonardo levelled in the 29th minute after a Xi Yang Alex assist, and Zhen Wei made it 2-1 in the 39th. Michael Ngadeu equalised from Zhixiong Zhang's pass in the 45th minute, but Leonardo's goal four minutes after the restart, assisted by Yue Xin, secured the win.
Shanghai Port were the more clinical side, scoring three times from their five shots on target despite attempting only eight shots to Chongqing's twelve. They also edged possession with 54% and converted all three of their big chances. Chongqing created two big chances and scored both, but paid for five shots off target.
