Shakhtar Donetsk came from behind to beat Karpaty Lviv 2-1 in the Premier League. Karpaty took the lead through Nazariy Rusyn, but Shakhtar replied before the break and then struck the decisive second goal after the interval.
Rusyn put Karpaty ahead in the 12th minute. Luca Oliveira Meirelles equalised for Shakhtar in the 25th, and Alisson Santana completed the comeback with the winner in the 67th. Four bookings punctuated the match, with Moha Moukhliss, Valeriy Bondar, Newertton and Lucas dos Santos Ferreira all shown yellow cards.
Alisson Santana was the matchwinner, scoring the goal that settled the contest at 1-2. Karpaty had the early lead, but Shakhtar’s two goals in reply proved enough.
