Severstal took this one 4-1 in regulation, closing it out with a two-goal third period after Amur had spent forty minutes within one. The visitors scored in all three periods and never trailed.
Ilya Ivantsov opened it at 18 with Alexander Skorenov feeding, and Skorenov made it 0-2 himself at 22 off Timofey Davydov. Vasily Machulin pulled Amur back to 1-2 at 26 from Yaroslav Dyominsky, and that's where it stayed until Nikita Popugaev's unassisted goal at 55 restored the two-goal cushion, with a fourth at 60 sealing it.
Skorenov was the difference on the scoresheet: a goal and an assist inside the first 22 minutes. Amur's only answer came from Machulin in the middle frame, and a 0-2 third period decided the night.
