Potapova took control in the first set, breaking in the third and fifth games at 2-1 and 4-1. Semenistaja got one break back at 4-2, but Potapova immediately broke again at 5-2 to seal the set. In the second set she broke in the opening game and closed out the match with a break at 5-2.
