Droguet broke in the opening game of the match, going up 1-0, and held that lead to close out the first set 6-4. In the second set he struck again at 1-2 and then at 2-5, sealing the win 6-2.
The decisive edge came on serve and return: Droguet won 78% of points behind his first serve and 74% behind his second, while winning 23 return points to Sakellaridis’s nine.
