Sagan Tosu made it a comfortable afternoon, beating Tegevajaro Miyazaki 2-0 in J.League 2. The home side had to be patient, though, with the deadlock only broken three minutes after the restart.
Rio Hyon put Sagan Tosu ahead in the 48th minute, and Manato Yoshida doubled the lead in the 67th to settle the contest. Sora Ogawa and Kaiga Murakoshi were both booked, in the 11th and 77th minutes respectively, but neither side finished with fewer than eleven men.
With the away side unable to respond after falling behind, the hosts controlled the game on the scoreboard. The two second-half goals were enough to earn the points, while Tegevajaro Miyazaki went home with nothing to show for their efforts.
