Tyler Wolff put Sacramento ahead in the 19th minute from Mayele Malango's assist, and Memo Rodríguez doubled the lead seven minutes later, Daniel Crisostomo providing the pass. Ihsan Sacko pulled one back for Phoenix in first-half stoppage time, Diego Gómez with the assist, then Sacko struck again in the 85th minute from Tate Schmitt's delivery to complete the comeback and earn a point.
Phoenix finished with more shots than Sacramento, 9-6, and created three big chances to Sacramento's two, though Sacramento dominated possession with 60% and completed 335 passes to Phoenix's 207. That contrast told the story: Sacramento controlled the ball, but Phoenix carried the greater threat and made it count late on.
