Belgrano snatched a late winner to beat Rosario Central 2-1 in the Superliga, thanks to Francisco González Metilli's 88th-minute strike. The home side had taken an early lead through Nicolás Fernández, but Rosario Central fought back to level before the dramatic finale.

Rosario Central equalised in the 77th minute when Julián Fernández found the net from Gastón Ávila's delivery. With just two minutes left, Francisco González Metilli scored the decisive goal, assisted by Ramiro Hernandes, to give Belgrano all three points.
Despite having less possession (48%) and a lower expected goals total (1.14 vs 1.28), Belgrano were more clinical in front of goal, registering five shots on target to Rosario Central's three. The visitors created two big chances but missed one, while Belgrano scored their only big chance of the match.
