Rögle BK shut out Red Bull Salzburg 5-0 in regulation, and the margin came almost entirely in a six-minute stretch of the third period. Four unanswered goals between the 47th and 53rd minutes turned a one-goal game into a rout.
Joel Kellman opened the scoring at 15 minutes, set up by Filip Johansson, and that 1-0 edge held through a scoreless second. The game broke open when Mark Friedman made it 2-0 at 47 off Anton Bengtsson, Albin Sundsvik added a third at 50 with Oskar Jellvik assisting, and Luboš Horký scored unassisted at 52.
Friedman was the difference-maker with two goals, capping the night at 53 minutes on a feed from Dennis Everberg. The clean sheet is the other headline number: Salzburg never got on the board across all three periods.
