Rodrigo Garro opened the scoring in the 59th minute, and Pedro Raul sealed it in the 87th, with Matheuzinho providing the assist. The first half was scrappy, with Garro, Eric Ramires, André Carrillo and Gabriel Paulista all booked before the break or early in the second period.
Bragantino edged the shot count 10-9 but only put two on target and posted an expected-goals figure of 0.37, against Corinthians' 1.27. Corinthians' efficiency in front of goal made the difference.
