Anglet Hormadi Pays Basque took a 4-3 decision in regulation at Gap, built almost entirely on a three-goal second period. The visitors never scored in the first or third, but the 20 minutes in the middle were enough to survive a late Gap push.
Scoreless through one, Anglet struck at 22 and again at 23, then added a third at 33 to lead 3-0 after two periods. Gap answered with three in the final frame — at 43, 52 and 58 — pulling level on the period at 3-0 but arriving one goal short on the night.
The number that decides it: per-period goals of 0-3 and 3-0. Anglet's back-to-back markers inside 90 seconds early in the second created the cushion that Gap's late surge, for all its volume, couldn't erase.
