Querétaro came from behind to beat Pachuca 1-2 away, thanks to a second-half brace from Ali Ávila. The visitors trailed early but turned the game around after the break, and sealed victory with a stoppage-time winner.
Salomón Rondón put Pachuca ahead in the third minute, converting Oussama Idrissi's assist. Querétaro drew level in the 58th minute when Ali Ávila finished from Bayron Duarte's pass, then Ávila struck again at the death, heading home unassisted in the 90th minute.
Though Pachuca had 53% of the ball, Querétaro created far more chances — 18 total shots to 11, five on target to two, and an expected goals tally of 2.07 against 0.86. Ali Ávila's double was the difference, earning his side a deserved win on the road.
