Wuhan Three Towns and Qingdao West Coast drew 2-2 in the CFA Super League, with each side's marksman scoring a brace. Kilian Bevis wiped out Davidson's third-minute opener and then put Wuhan in front, but Davidson's 83rd-minute strike cancelled that out after Qingdao had been reduced to ten men.
Davidson struck in the third minute to give Qingdao the lead, Bevis levelled in the 19th and then completed his quick double three minutes later to turn the game around. The moment came in the 62nd minute when Yu Dong received a second yellow card and was sent off, yet the ten men of Qingdao kept pushing and Davidson's second goal, seven minutes from time, made it 2-2.
Wuhan finished with the stronger numbers – 52 per cent possession, 17 shots to 16, seven on target to four and four big chances created to Qingdao's one. The Qingdao goalkeeper made five saves, and Davidson's late double ensured those numbers did not bring Wuhan victory.
