Four players were booked during the contest, including Abdel-Hafiez.
Pyramids were the sharper side in attack, finishing with nine shots to six and converting both of their two big chances, while Ghazl missed their one big chance. Mohamed Chibi stood out by creating two of the three goals, and the hosts' frustration showed in 16 fouls.
