Central Español beat Progreso 1-0 in Primera División. The only goal arrived in the 58th minute, and Central Español held on from there.
Isaac Mendez scored the winner, finishing a move that started with Jonathan Dellarossa. A red card for Gastón Silva in the 79th minute changed the closing stages, but Progreso could not find an equaliser.
Mendez's strike proved decisive on an otherwise tight afternoon. Luciano Fernández was booked in the 73rd minute and Fernando Camarda in the 90th, but neither could alter the result.
