Operário-PR came from behind twice to snatch a thrilling 3-2 victory over Ponte Preta in the Brasileiro Série B. Caio Dantas scored a stoppage-time winner to cap a frantic second half.
Brandão put Ponte Preta ahead in the seventh minute, but Pablo levelled for the hosts just after the half-hour. Brandão struck again four minutes into the second half to restore the lead, only for Hildeberto Pereira to equalise within four minutes. Caio Dantas then fired home in the 90th minute to complete the turnaround. Brandão was sent off for a second bookable offence after his second goal.
Operário-PR dominated possession (62% to 38%) and outshot Ponte Preta 20-11, though the visitors had more shots on target (5-4). The hosts' expected goals (1.97) reflected their control, but they missed two big chances. Ponte Preta scored from two of their two big chances but could not hold on after the red card.
