Dodig broke in game six of the opener to go 4-2 and again in game eight to take the set 6-2. The second set was tighter until Dodig broke at 5-3 to close out the match.
Dodig’s serving display was the standout: six aces, no double faults, and 84% of first-serve points won. Poljičak, by contrast, won just 60% behind his first serve and did not forge a single break opportunity.
