Pisa came from behind to beat Catanzaro 2-1 in Serie B. After Pietro Iemmello put the visitors ahead inside the first half, Pisa struck twice in three minutes to turn the game around before the break.
Catanzaro took the lead on 22 minutes when Iemmello converted, with Antonio Candela providing the assist. Simone Canestrelli levelled for Pisa on 28, finishing from Matteo Tramoni's pass, and Giuseppe Leone completed the turnaround on 30 thanks to Omar Correia's assist. Five yellow cards were shown, the first to Simone Zanon on 39, with further bookings for Arturo Calabresi, Isak Vural, Jacopo Petriccione and Matias Antonini Lui.
Pisa had only 45% possession and were outpassed by a side that completed 401 accurate passes to their 305, yet they were the more dangerous side, registering 19 shots to 14 and an expected-goals figure of 2.07 against 1.13. Both goalkeepers made six saves, but Pisa's sharper finishing made the difference.
