Granath opened the scoring in the 26th minute from Christian Manrique's assist, giving the home side the lead. Soumah added the second in the 90th minute, with Yevhenii Kucherenko providing the assist, as Panetolikos wrapped up the points in stoppage time.
Panetolikos had 20 shots and an expected-goals total of 2.46 against PAE PS Kalamata's 11 and 1.02, while possessing only 44% of the ball. They created four big chances to two and scored two of them, showing a sharper edge in front of goal.
