Örebro SK beat Varbergs BoIS 2-1 in the Superettan thanks to a first-half double from Antonio Yakoub. Two goals before the break gave the home side a comfortable lead, and they saw out the match after Varbergs replied.
Yakoub put Örebro ahead in the 25th minute and doubled the lead on the stroke of half-time. Varbergs reduced the deficit through Albin Winbo in the 67th minute, setting up a tense finish. Yakoub had been booked a minute earlier.
Yakoub's brace was the decisive contribution, giving Örebro all three points. Varbergs pushed for an equaliser after Winbo's goal but could not find a way through.
