FC Ordabasy came from behind to beat Elimai FC 3-1 in the Premier League, scoring twice before half-time to take control. Elimai had levelled quickly after the opener, but Ordabasy's response was swift and decisive.
Björn Johnsen put Ordabasy ahead in the 7th minute, only for Euloge Fessou Placca to equalise five minutes later, assisted by Ivan Sviridov. Guy-Marcelin Kilama restored the lead in the 37th minute from Elkhan Astanov's pass, and Astanov sealed the win with a fine solo goal in the 60th minute.
Elkhan Astanov was the key figure, scoring one goal and setting up another, while the match was punctuated by six yellow cards. Despite a bright spell from Elimai after the equaliser, Ordabasy's efficiency in front of goal proved the difference.
