Omskie Kryliya turned a one-goal deficit into a 2-1 win over HK Ryazan, and they did all of it in the third period. Two goals inside a two-minute window in the final stretch decided a game that had been scoreless since the opening frame.
Ryazan struck first at 16 minutes for a 1-0 lead they carried through a goalless second period, the score still 0-1 after 40. The turning point came late: Omsk tied it and then went ahead in the 52nd and 53rd minutes, the swing that flipped the result in regulation.
The number that matters is the period split: 0-1, 0-0, 2-0. Omsk were held off the board for better than two periods and still produced the only two goals of the third.
