Lyon's dominance was confirmed by the numbers: 64% possession, 20 shots to Auxerre's eight and an expected-goals mark of 2.65 to 0.69. Nuamah was the key figure, setting up the opener before scoring the third, while Auxerre's goalkeeper had to make six saves.
