FK Aktobe secured a 2-1 win over FC Okzhetpes in the Premier League, thanks to two early goals. Jani Atanasov and Temirlan Erlanov struck inside the first 21 minutes to give the home side control.
Atanasov opened the scoring in the 5th minute, and Erlanov doubled the lead in the 21st. Okzhetpes responded just before half-time when Shakhboz Umarov pulled one back in the 44th minute. The second half saw multiple bookings and a second yellow card for Ivan Kuzmichev in the 77th minute, reducing Okzhetpes to ten men.
Despite the numerical advantage, Aktobe couldn't extend their lead and had to withstand late pressure. The sending-off was one of eight cards shown in a scrappy contest, but the home side held on for three points.
