New Mexico United came from behind to beat Las Vegas Lights 2-1 in the USL Championship. The visitors conceded first but were level within five minutes and took the points with a late winner.
Oalex Anderson put Las Vegas ahead in the 29th minute. Greg Hurst equalised for New Mexico in the 34th, and Kipp Keller scored the decisive goal in the 79th minute with Niko Hämäläinen providing the assist.
Las Vegas actually had more total shots than New Mexico, 14 to 12, and more shots on target, 5 to 4. New Mexico controlled 57% of possession and won eight corners to three, while their goalkeeper made four saves as Las Vegas missed two big chances.
