Nankatsu SC claimed a comfortable 3-0 victory over Nihon University, despite having less of the ball. The visitors took their chances when it mattered, leaving the hosts frustrated.
Kota Nakamura opened the scoring in the 37th minute to put Nankatsu ahead. Two more goals followed early in the second half – the first arriving in the 49th minute and the third in the 55th – to seal the win before the hour mark.
Nihon University dominated possession with 56% and won eight corners to Nankatsu's four, but could not find the net. Nankatsu, with only 44% possession, were clinical in front of goal.
