Nagoya Grampus came from behind to beat Fagiano Okayama 2-1 in the J.League, with Katsuhiro Nakayama scoring the winner in the 90th minute. Okayama had taken the lead through Yoshitake Suzuki, but Sho Inagaki equalised before half-time to set up the late turnaround.
Suzuki put the visitors ahead on 38 minutes, converting Lucão's assist. Nagoya responded within five minutes as Inagaki levelled, and with the game seemingly heading for a draw, Nakayama struck at the death to earn all three points.
Nagoya dominated possession, holding 65% of the ball, and registered four shots on target to Okayama's two, although the visitors had slightly more attempts overall, 15-14. Five yellow cards were shown across the match, but it was Nagoya's composure in front of goal that proved decisive.
