MVV Maastricht snatched a dramatic 3-2 win at FC Eindhoven, scoring twice in the 90th minute to turn a 2-1 deficit into victory. The visitors had trailed twice before their late surge.
Milan Hofland put Eindhoven ahead in the 15th minute, but Stan Van Dessel equalised on the stroke of half-time. Mika de Jonge restored Eindhoven's lead in the 51st minute, and Delano Asante was booked in the 25th minute. Then Olivier Dumont levelled in the 90th, and Jael Pawaridihadjo completed the comeback moments later.
The statistics backed MVV's win: they had 16 shots to Eindhoven's 13, seven on target to two, and an expected goals figure of 2.88 against 1.25. Eindhoven led for much of the game, but MVV's pressure finally told in stoppage time.
