Korona Kielce came from behind to beat Widzew Łódź 2-1 in the Ekstraklasa, Morgan Fassbender's two goals in four first-half minutes proving decisive. Widzew led through Steve Kapuadi's early strike but were behind by the 26th minute.
Kapuadi gave the hosts an eighth-minute lead, but Korona hit back when Fassbender equalised in the 22nd minute. The same player then put the visitors in front four minutes later, with Marcel Pieczek providing the assist.
The result went against the run of play in terms of chances: Widzew had 62% possession, 15 corners and seven big chances, but scored only once. Korona, with just 38% possession, were more efficient in front of goal, registering seven shots on target from 16 attempts.
