Mirassol came from behind to beat Remo 2-1 in a Brasileiro Série A encounter. Marllon put the home side ahead on the half-hour, but Leonel Picco equalised on the stroke of half-time. João Victor's second-half strike proved decisive.
After a scrappy opening, Mirassol took the lead through a Marllon header on 30 minutes. Remo responded just before the break when Leonel Picco found the net to make it 1-1. João Victor restored the lead in the 54th minute, capitalising on a Reinaldo assist.
Mirassol controlled possession with 56% and created four big chances to Remo's one. Despite Remo having 13 total shots, only two were on target, compared to Mirassol's four from eight. The home side also had more accurate passes and corners, while their expected goals (1.47) reflected greater attacking efficiency.
